I'm looking for work myself, and I know how stressful interviewing can be! A month or so ago, I parked my car and absent-mindedly neglected to raise the driver's side window, which was all the way down. I park on the street in an urban area, and because I don't use my car much, I tend to find a spot and leave the car there for a week until I have to move it for the weekly street-cleaning. So my car sat with the window down on the streets of Oakland for a whole week good news is that nothing happened (and it didn't rain!!), although when I went to move the car a week later for just a second I thought someone had broken the window out. Then I realized that there was no glass on the ground and that I'm an idiot who left the window down. Ok, how do I look for a friend in my area? I work 14 hours a day, 5 days a week. I am brand new, sex dating in paynes mississippi not only to this area (2 months now) but to this state (been here about 2 years). I don't have friends, and those I do have are men (i'm a truck driver, REALLLLY hard to meet a nice woman when you work in an industry that's 80% men). So, any suggestions? BTW, I'm looking for friendship first. Also looking for no strings at first. If the strings form with time, that's fine. Oh, and I'm REALLY shy around women. I think about introducing myself to a woman as a prospective "friend+" and I just freeze. I'm ok with women as just pals (though I don't have female "pals"), I just freeze up when it comes to more. I've had gf's in the past, but they were more accidental lovers than searched out with the intention of becoming more than friends. any ideas???
